Image of the Day October 24,2012
Good morning everyone, today’s Image of the Day was captured on Halloween 2010 while walking the Charles River here in Boston. I had only had the 50D for a short while but was learning to use it rather quickly. Shots like these are why I am glad I picked up a camera and started shooting in t he first place. I started out that morning to catch Sunrise pic’s but the sky was overcast so I just walked from the longfellow Bridge to Kenmore Sq. capturing the life on the Charles as I went… Enjoy!

This shot was captured on my bike ride back from the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in South Boston on a beautiful day in 2012 . Couldn’t ask for a more awesome way to be part of the parade for the first time, met some old friends and made some new ones as well. This city provides an amazing backdrop for my passion of photography, enjoy!

Well let me tell you first, how difficult it was not to run Hills this morning. But my sights are set on killing 26.2 miles of asphalt on Sunday morning in Lowell at the Bay State Marathon that gets underway at 8 am. So I decided to throw my camera into the great mix of shots that get taken while we sweat out the bad and bring in the good ,by our mentors and friends who lead November Project…
I got some great shots before a hint of Sun could be seen or one hill had been run by the crowd that gathered together at 6:30 to bring in the day together. Yes others have been on the hills since 5-5:30 because obligations do create some time constraints even before the gridlock commences on Storrow,93 and the Pike . But we do get up and out to better ourselves and each other on a daily, weekly and monthly basis… Even if it is getting chilly and staying dark longer! We don’t have excuses just hurdles to jump over and mountains of fitness to climb…
So I say good morning world and hello day…
Rowing slideshow…
In honor of our boy Bojan I put together a slideshow of Rowing shots I have gathered over the past 2 years enjoy and good luck Bojan…
